Trust, Security & Privacy
Last updated: June 21, 2026
This page is maintained by The Tolbert Legacy Group to answer common security and privacy questions about our website and intake forms. It describes the controls and practices currently in place and is not an independent certification or audit.
1. What information we collect
When you submit our intake or booking forms, we collect the information you choose to provide, which may include your name, email address, phone number, the services you are interested in, and any notes or documents you upload (for example, tax documents). We only collect what is needed to respond to your request and coordinate services.
2. How we use your information
Your information is used to contact you, schedule consultations, prepare requested services, and refer you to the appropriate licensed third-party professional. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Platform & hosting
Our website is built and hosted on the Lovable platform, which provides managed application hosting, a managed Postgres database, and authenticated file storage. Data is transmitted over HTTPS, and uploaded tax documents are stored in a private storage bucket that is not publicly accessible.
4. Access controls
Submissions from our intake and booking forms can only be inserted; they cannot be read, modified, or deleted by site visitors. Access to submitted records is limited to authorized members of The Tolbert Legacy Group.
5. Retention & deletion
We retain submission and document records for as long as needed to provide the requested services and to meet our recordkeeping obligations. You may request deletion of your information by contacting us using the details below; certain records may need to be retained where required by law.
6. Cookies & analytics
Our site uses only the cookies and local storage necessary to operate the website and remember basic preferences. We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.
7. Third-party providers
We coordinate with independent, licensed professionals (insurance carriers and agents, real estate brokers, attorneys, accountants, and similar providers). When we refer you, the third party becomes responsible for handling the information you share directly with them under their own privacy practices.
8. Shared responsibility
Platform-level security (hosting, database, storage, and transport encryption) is provided by our hosting provider. The Tolbert Legacy Group is responsible for how we configure the site, what information we collect, and how we handle it internally. You are responsible for safeguarding the credentials and devices you use to communicate with us.
9. Privacy requests & contact
To ask a question about this page, request access to or deletion of your information, or report a possible security issue, please contact us through the form on our home page and reference "Privacy & Security."
10. Changes to this page
We may update this page from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or the services we offer. The "Last updated" date above will change when we do.
